Retail Theft
October 04, 2024

On October 4th and October 15th, 2024, the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 4800 Block of Vanguard Drive in the Town of Sheboygan regarding a retail theft complaint.  A suspect, described as a white male, approximately six feet in height, slenderly built, and approximately 55 to 60 years of age was wearing all black with a black baseball cap with white lettering on the front and black Nike shoes with white soles.  They entered the store on these two occasions and stole digital cameras and a camera doorbell.  The subject drives a silver in color four-door Chevrolet pick-up truck, possibly a Chevrolet Avalanche.

Theft
June 20, 2024

DATE OF THE CRIME:  Between June 19th and June 20th, 2024.

 

LOCATION OF CRIME: 3900 Block of Blueberry Lane, Village of Waldo in the Town of Lyndon

 

TYPE OF CRIME: Theft

 

On June 20th, at 6:53 PM the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 3900 block of Blueberry Lane in the Village of Waldo about a theft complaint.  An enclosed trailer was taken during the overnight hours on June 19th, 2024.  The stolen trailer is described as a grey enclosed trailer with chrome trim. Damage from a previously fallen tree may be visible on the right rear top, where the chrome trim is located. There are no license plates displayed, however, there is an entrance door on the right side and the door on the rear is a fold-down style. A R & R decal may still be displayed on the back of the trailer. The trailer is valued at approximately $7,000.


Damage to Property
February 19, 2024

DATE OF THE CRIME:  Between the middle of January to February 19th, 2024.

 

LOCATION OF CRIME: 600 Block of Western Ave, Village of Random Lake

 

TYPE OF CRIME: Damage to Property  

 

On February 19th, at 11:00 AM the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 600 block of Western Avenue in the Village of Random Lake for a damage to property complaint. After further investigation a bullet was found in the residence, that had been fired, from the outside of the home by an unidentified person. No one was hurt and the investigation is still ongoing.

Theft
February 06, 2024

DATE OF THE CRIME:  Between January 31st and February 1st, 2024

 

LOCATION OF CRIME: 5700 Block of Prairie View Drive, Village of Random Lake

 

TYPE OF CRIME: Theft

 

On February 6th, at 6:16 PM the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 5700 block of Prairie View Drive in the Village of Random Lake for a theft.  The theft consisted of a Porta Potty being taken from a construction site sometime between January 31st and February 1st, 2024.

 

The Porta Potty is described as a Pit Stop brand, which is light blue in color with a white top.  The Porta Potty is valued at approximately $1600.

Suspicious Fire(s)
November 14, 2023

LOCATION OF CRIME: 710 Michigan Ave. Sheboygan Wisconsin.
 

On November 14th at 2:09 AM the Sheboygan Fire Department was paged to 710 Michigan Ave for a garage on fire. During the investigation by the Sheboygan Fire Department and Police Department it was learned that this is the second suspicious fire at this address, the first being on November 11th, 2023. 

 

In both cases a tarp was lit on fire. During the second fire on November 14th, the tarp, which covered a moped, caused fire damage to the moped, another vehicle and the adjacent garage of 710 Michigan Ave.

Vandalism - Sheboygan Falls Parks
September 25, 2023

 River Park & Rochester Park
 Sheboygan Falls, WI
Type of Crime:  Vandalism
 

On September 25, 2023, the Sheboygan Falls Police Department responded to River Park and Rochester Park, in the City of Sheboygan Falls, for vandalism to the buildings.  The River Park damage consisted of a large hole in a bathroom wall.  In Rochester Park, there is damage to the roof where shingles were torn off and damage to the ventilation system.



Theft
September 19, 2023

On Tuesday, September 19th, 2023, Officers from the Sheboygan Police Department responded to the 2500 block of Lakeshore Drive in the City of Sheboygan regarding the theft of bicycles. Officers obtained information that two, black in color, Excel 20-inch, 7 speed Electric assist bicycles were stolen from a residential driveway. One of the bicycles has saddle bags, and the other has a sticker “I’m nice because I’m from Iowa”.  Both bicycles fold in half and are valued at approximately $3,000.

 

As in all situations of this nature, do not confront a suspect.  



Robbery at Mill Road Shops
June 26, 2023

On Monday, June 26th, 2023 at 7:41 A.M., Deputies of the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Mill Road Shops at 3400 Block of Mill Road in the Town of Sheboygan for an apparent robbery.  The store owner, who is a disable Veteran, reported that at approximately 6:20 A.M. a male with dark skin tone, dark hair and a foreign accent entered the store.  They were wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, dark colored backpack along with a sleeping bag strapped to their back.  Through the use of force, they obtained an undisclosed amount of cash.  According to area surveillance video the subject left on foot north bound on State Road 42.

Theft of Catalytic Converters

Throughout the year law enforcement agencies in Sheboygan County have investigated multiple thefts of catalytic converters from vehicles. These thefts have occurred through-out the city and county of Sheboygan and are believed to be caused by multiple unrelated individuals. Law enforcement is asking anyone who has information on who is responsible to share that information with them.

During the winter and spring months of 2022, numerous communities throughout the County of Sheboygan have experienced thefts from unsecured vehicles and unsecured garages.
 
It is believed that the suspect or suspects are operating during the hours of darkness.  The public is asked to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity when observed.  Also, make sure that you do not keep valuables such as prescription medications, electronic items or firearms in your vehicles.  Please keep your vehicles locked, and in a secured garage, when available.  Anyone with information about the person or persons responsible for the thefts is asked to reach out to Sheboygan Countywide Crime Stoppers or your local law enforcement agency.
